Every hand-knit tells a story:

A favourite pattern can become something completely personal through the yarn we choose, the colours we combine and, most of all, the people we knit for. Sometimes a sweater begins as a project for ourselves and ends up with someone we love. Sometimes a pattern travels with us, helps us learn something new or becomes one we return to again and again.

Judith Pereira knitted the Field Sweater for her daughter after she fell in love with the design. Seeing the finished sweater on someone she loves has only made Judith want to return to the pattern. Next time, she hopes there will be enough knitting time to make a Field Sweater for herself too.
